One of the things I loved most upon receiving the package was opening it to find a product that matches the advertisement perfectly. The materials are of very high quality, it’s easy to assemble, and overall, I highly recommend it.

This Christmas decoration is quite easy to put together. Simply assemble the poles to your preferred height, wrap the additional lights around the post, attach the base, and add the ribbon. I chose not to tie the ribbon, as the twisty ties seem flimsy and could easily break in a minor storm. Instead, I tucked the ties into the tallest pole and secured the top light to hold the ribbon in place. It requires 3 AA batteries for the switch. I’m not confident that the switch is waterproof, so I sealed it in a waterproof bag and hid it inside the base. You can turn the post on and off manually each day, or use the preset timer that lasts about 6 hours. Press the button once to turn it on, again for the timer, and a third time to turn it off completely. The lights will indicate when the timer starts. I’ve left it on the timer to see how long the batteries will last. My main concern is that it can’t be plugged in, which means I can’t sync it with my other outdoor lights on a timer. I’ve never been a fan of battery-operated lights; while cordless is convenient, batteries don’t perform well in the cold. Additionally, the base is plastic and quite unstable—just a little wind can knock it over. They should have used a heavier material, like wood or metal, for the base. I ended up strapping it down to prevent it from tipping over. Overall, it’s a nice lamp, although quite short, making it more suitable as a garden post. Made in China.

Update: Unfortunately, I had to return it. The lights and switch began to malfunction after just a week. It’s a cute little light for the holidays. I share the concerns of some other reviewers about its durability outdoors, which is why I purchased it, so we’ll see how it holds up. The base is quite lightweight, so I added a few heavy rocks inside to keep it from tipping over in the wind. I also wrapped the battery box in a freezer bag to protect it from moisture. Only time will tell how it performs. Assembly was a breeze.

These are lightweight, so if you plan to place them outside, they might get blown over in the wind. I’m uncertain about their durability in winter weather. We decided to put them inside beside the fireplace, and they look adorable. I removed the red and green plaid bows since they didn’t match our Christmas colors, and I actually prefer them without. The top lamp features beautiful star-shaped lights, and the greenery in the lower pots is lush and attractive. You can use them with or without the poles, allowing you to adjust the height. I do think they’re a bit pricey, but that’s the case for a lot of things these days. (Here’s hoping things change in 2025 – wink, wink! 😉 Merry Christmas! I recommend them!
