When I received this lamp post, I expected it to be just another typical lamppost. But wow… it’s absolutely stunning! Even when the lights are off, it looks beautiful, but when you turn them on, it lights up magnificently. Place this in your yard, and there’s no chance Santa will miss your house—he might even spot it in a blizzard! The ribbon on this post reminds me of what Rudolph’s nose must look like during his snowy Christmas Eve flight.
I’m definitely going to buy another one; it’s too lovely not to have more. It stores neatly stacked in a box, but you could leave it out year-round since there’s nothing that screams “only for the holidays.” I do wish it were solar-powered instead of plug-in, but that’s a minor detail.
Putting it together was a breeze. The bottom and mid-section screw together, then the lamp part screws onto the mid-section, and finally, the cap sits atop the shade. It took me longer to move the surge protector than to assemble it—exactly my kind of decor: quick, easy, and gorgeous once set up!
Overall, I absolutely, positively recommend this lamp post—I wish I could give it more than five stars! Photos won’t do it justice, but I’ll do my best to share them.

The finished product is stunning. The lights are bright, and the size is perfect. However, assembling it was a bit tricky. It only requires three bolts, which can be managed by one person if you start from the top down. The issue arises with the wiring; although the pieces are connected, the wires aren’t plugged into each other, and this detail isn’t mentioned until the end of the manual. The instructions are confusing, referring to plugging A into A, B into B, etc., but there’s really only one plug. The way the wires are arranged forces you to pull the plug from the middle section through the top of that piece to connect it to the plug on the bottom piece outside the lamp post. I spent more time than I care to admit trying to figure out how to connect the internal pieces, but it just isn’t possible. There’s enough wire to make it work, but the way it’s anchored prevents any internal connections. While you can do this alone, I strongly recommend having a second person to help, as it reduces stress on the thin wiring. So far, the main plug has been slightly warm, but not excessively hot, which I’ve experienced with similar products. Overall, I truly love this lamp post and am excited to display it in my yard this holiday season. I’m giving it four stars due to the odd wiring configuration and the slight warmth of the plug.

We really wanted to love this product, but as my daughter put it, “like online dating, it looks nothing like the picture.” The material feels incredibly flimsy; my son even remarked, “I’ve seen stronger spiderwebs.” It doesn’t stand upright, and the pieces don’t fit together properly. The way the cords are zip-tied makes them visible, the top doesn’t fit well, and the ball on top is quite floppy. Living in the high desert, there’s no way we could use this outdoors. With normal wind speeds of 10-15 mph here, it wouldn’t hold up, and I can’t imagine how it would fare in a storm. I’m also concerned about its performance in rain or snow. It’s a cute concept, but the execution leaves much to be desired.

This lamp post arrives in four pieces that connect via lighting wires. While you can assemble it on your own, I must thank my husband for helping me navigate one challenge. Here are some tips—the end result is definitely worth it!
According to the instructions, start by laying all pieces out on the floor. The tricky part was connecting the male and female connectors (both labeled ‘A’) inside the “C” pole, as the wires weren’t long enough.
The solution was to use a bow. I cut the plastic tie on the back of the bow to give the wire more length and taped the wire to a rod (we used a garden stake) to guide it down inside the pole. After that, connect the male and female connectors. Note that the wire for the “C” pole was still about an inch short, so it took a little maneuvering to finish the connection, but it was manageable.
Secure the bow with another plastic tie. Lastly, ensure that the top (Part A) is firmly attached to the lamp (Part B) with plastic ties. The manufacturer did a great job providing plenty of plastic ties along with the instructions.
I’ve added several photos, although they don’t capture every step, so be sure to refer to the instructions as well. The lamp post is bright and festive, and it comes at a great price. It’s very lightweight, but ground stakes are included. I can’t wait to display it for the holidays!
